Can you believe that Christmas is just ONE day away? Wowzer. I mean, I feel like we just celebrated New Year’s. Where in the world does the time go? Well, with the speedy approach of Christmas, I’ve been working on my to-do list one day at a time.

Yesterday I finished up my baking. My sister and I made Cream Wafer Cookies and Bite-Sized Cinnamon Buns. Today I hope to REST (aka taking a looooong nap) and do a little gift wrapping.

So, how about you? What’s left on your to-do list for the holidays? I know this is probably a little late to be sharing; however, if you’re anything like me — lists are a major part of my everyday and staying on task. I get distracted easily, squirrel (hee-hee).

As a matter of fact, I have this printed off with a list of things I still need to get done before Tuesday. Since I’m hosting this year, I have to get groceries for Christmas breakfast, prepare a tablescape, hide the pickle (a German family tradition) and more! I did just finish writing my cards though, so I can cross that one off my list. Yahoooooo!

In the BIG picture, I have it easy. If I had out of town guests staying with me, this list would be so much bigger. So, I can’t complain!

For some reason I get a lot more done when I’m under a time crunch. It’s crazy, but true. And there is something to be said about making lists and crossing items off as they’re accomplished. Are you still a paper and pen person?
