Baked Buffalo Chicken Wings
Unlike my Slow Cooker BBQ Chicken wings, these wings are ready to go in less than 30 minutes. And now that grilling season is slowing down, having a back up option is ideal! Right? These Baked Buffalo Chicken Wings are a perfect combination of easy and delicious.
Amazing Wing Recipe
Steve and I seem to be eating a lot more barbecue foods this past year. From brats to wings and ribs. Yum! The reason? My husband got a Traeger Smoker when we moved into our new home. It makes some pretty delicious food. I’ll actually be sharing a wing recipe for the smoker soon too!
Regardless of whether it’s chicken wings or potato chips — finger foods always seem to be a hit at any party! Pretzels, pizza, a veggie tray, cheese and crackers, etc.
Since it’s usually just the hubs and I, sometimes finger foods are a win-win. we keep the menu fairly simple. When it comes to wings, I prefer mine with no sauce or a bbq sauce, but the hubs is a HUGE fan of hot sauces.
Yep, he has a small collection in the cupboard. I always say he’s a little excessive, but to each his own, right? {giggle} Anywho, I asked the hubby to help me in sharing this recipe, since this is one of the yummy recipes he usually makes. They are pretty good. I’m actually wishing he’d make some more right now as I’m drafting this post. Ha ha.
A wing recipe that requires only three ingredients is spectacular. Besides the chicken wings and bread crumbs, all you need to decide on is the hot sauce. If you’re looking for recommendations, the hubs recommends Franks Hot Sauce or Louisiana Wing Sauce.
Add a side of celery and ranch or bleu cheese dressing and you’re ready to rock and roll. Hidden Valley Ranch Dip packets mixed with sour cream is my FAVE.
So, what about you? Do you like wings? If so, how do you make them?
Are you ready to whip up a batch of some Baked Buffalo Chicken Wings? Let’s do this. Enjoy.

Gosh, I may have to add wings to our Superbowl menu! These look delish!
Shannah @ Just Us Four says
These sound really good. I’m a freak who doesn’t eat wings because I don’t like meat cooked on a bone (I know…weird) but my husband LOVES wings. 🙂 I try to at least indulge him with the same flavor by making dip or little cups filled with shredded buffalo chicken.
I agree with your husband…I would use Franks! That is the only sauce I use when doing buffalo flavored anything!
Lana @ Never Enough Thyme says
I do baked buffalo wings as well but this recipe is way simpler than mine! So easy! And it looks just as delicious. I’m going with your hubby’s recipe for my Super Bowl menu.
Cathy says
Your recipe is almost the same as mine. The only difference is that I marinade the wings in Franks Hot Sauce for 30 min before shaking in the crumbs, it only takes about a 1/4 cup to add a whole bunch of flavour

Are frozen chicken wings ok for this recipe
Kelly Rowe says
Hi Sharon. I haven’t used them frozen, so I can’t say for sure. You would definitely need to thaw them if you’re going to bread them. Hope that helps. Cheers!

Kelly,
Thank you so much! That makes perfect sense!
