Hey, hey, hey! Happy hellos from a wet and gloomy Rogersville, MO. We’ve had rain, ice, fog, mist, and more rain all week. I will probably do a happy dance when the sun appears (hoping for tomorrow, Sunday). Regardless, I’m a child of the sun (and the son). 😉😉
Spring, come quickly! Mmmmkay? These beautiful tulips give me hope. Lol.
Tulips: Beauty blossoming in every petal, a testament to the artistry of nature.
Miscellany:
1. Another week has come and gone! I have to say that this week was incredibly frustrating and unproductive. More appointments were canceled due to the weather, and I just got a case of the “meh” bug.
Sure, I did some laundry, a little makeup content, a little of my social selling class, and worked my business behind the scenes — but I’m learning that when I don’t have something to show for that work, it feels like a fail.
Guess what? That’s a LIE! Work is work, even if it doesn’t have significant or monumental results.
I’m learning that showing up is good enough some days. So, did you show up this week?
2. Guys, do you remember the last time I shared a CRAFT? Like F-O-R-E-V-E-R ago, right? If we count these little Easter Bunny Napkin Rings, it’s been 10-11 months. If we go to a full-fledged post with a step-by-step tutorial — the last time I shared a craft was in the Spring of 2021 with this Spring Hoop Wreath.
WOW! Like, for real. 😳
I have some fun news for those who enjoy a good craft. I’m collaborating with a group of ladies in The Hand Crafted Society this year. On the second Tuesday of each month, I’ll share a craft with you using a specific supply or craft medium that the whole group will use. If interested, you’ll get to see a picture of the other contributors’ work with a link to follow. YAY!
The first one will be on February 12th, and the craft medium is wood. I’m going to share the most adorable wooden flowers for Spring. Stay tuned. 🌸🌺
3. We had about 1/4″ of ice on Monday. It was wild — and poor Nash(ville) was so restless. Thankfully, the roads were better on Tuesday, and Nash went to play with his crew at Bark Yard.
Then, on Thursday, he had a groom. So, he had a busier week than me (insert all the giggles). I love my sweet boy.
4. My sister had her D&C on Thursday. That was an early morning for me. Haha. I was up at 4 a.m. and out the door by 5 a.m. I picked up my sister at 5:30, and we pulled into the surgery center early. Yes, and amen.
However, everything went as scheduled, and the doctor thought the uterus looked healthy. We’re praying for a good report; however, that will mean more testing for my sister.
Please continue to send all the good vibes and prayers for her. Of course, I’ll keep you posted. Thank you! ❤️
5. The Chiefs are still in the playoff games, friends! Yahooooo. That game last weekend against the Bills was crazy town. I watched on the edge of my seat.
Personally, I think the Bills played rough. You can agree or disagree and say that’s football, but it looked a little more rough to me. It’s safe to say that I was thrilled the Chiefs won.
They showed up and played a good game. I was happy to see Jason Kelce was there, even if he felt the need to be shirtless. 😂
Let’s see how they play against the Ravens. I’m hoping the Chiefs make it to another Super Bowl.
6. This week, Steve and I will be hitting the road for a road trip to Ohio. I’m tickled silly to get out of town for a few days. Nash will be staying at Bark Yard to have lots of playtime. I think he’ll be tickled silly too.
I’m looking forward to the Seint virtual conference and meeting some of my teammates and upline. Fully transparency, I’m a nervous wreck, too. Haha. Oh, the joys of anxiety and menopausal anxiety. My extroverted self has changed a lot over the past year.
7. I enjoyed this read: The One Thing Sleep Doctors Never Do in the Morning. And apparently, I have some work to do on getting out of bed when the alarm goes off. Yikes!

If you thought the Bills were rough, hold onto your seat, the Ravens are known to be one of the nastiest teams in the NFL. I’m hoping for a Chiefs win too!
