This might seem a bit redundant, but I just recently discovered the use of Simple Syrup  (and how to make it).  Several of my favorite popsicle recipes and even my favorite cocktail — the Amaretto Sour, call for simple syrup,  sooo I thought I would share how to make simple syrup.

Making Simple Syrup is soooo easy! No need to buy a bottle when you can make your own.Simple Syrup is an easy syrup that is merely sugar being dissolved in equal parts of water over heat. It’s a perfect addition to coffee and tea and , well, it’s great to have on hand for cocktails and other recipes!

Making Simple Syrup is soooo easy! No need to buy a bottle when you can make your own.I’ve made a few batches of simple syrup now and store it in a mason jar.  I enjoy the lower cost version of making it myself too.  Enjoy!
