Honestly, I’m not a huge fan of seafood. However, if I am going to eat it — salmon makes the cut. The seafood list is short, salmon, tilapia, fried cod, and fried popcorn shrimp. Of course, I eat tuna, but that is when it’s coming from a can and it’s usually mixed with mayonnaise. Heehee.
And if I’m going to eat salmon, I usually need a big side of tartar sauce or mayonnaise. But, this salmon recipe comes with a sauce, so I’m able to put the tartar sauce away.
So, how about you? Are you a fan of seafood? What’s your favorite seafood dish?
If you happen to be a seafood foodie, then this Salmon with Cream Sauce might make a great addition to your meal planning.
Do you season salmon before cooking?
Salmon is a flavorful fish and can be simply seasoned with salt and pepper. However, other herbs that can be used for seasoning salmon include fresh dill, parsley, garlic, and chives are especially tasty with fish. Basic, rosemary, and tarragon are also widely used options.

Onion, chopped
Garlic
Half and Half
Thyme
Lemon juice
Parsley, chopped

Add the onion to the same pan you used to cook the salmon and sauté until tender and transparent. Add the garlic clove and thyme and sauté. Pour the Half and Half into the pan and bring to a simmer.
