Crunchy, flaky Cinnamon Crisps are the perfect dessert for one, two or a whole house full of guests! Hurry and snatch a few up, because they won’t last long!

Flaky, Cinnamon Crisps make for a great snack or game day food! Super easy and delicious. livelaughrowe.comAmazing Cinnamon Crisps

Years ago, probably when I was in Elementary School, when we went to Philadelphia to visit my Grandma, she always treated us to Taco Bell. And I’m not going to lie, I kind of looked forward to it! Why? Cinnamon Crispas (and, no, that is not a typo).  Holy cow were those crunchy, flaky bites of cinnamon and sugar tortillas good!  They cost all of 39¢ for a bag and then they went away — womp, womp, womp.  The cinnamon twists do the Cinnamons Crispas no justice.

I have talked about these delicious bites of goodness for years and never in my wildest dreams thought about making them, until recently that is.  All I can say is, “Why did I wait so long?”  Insert face palm.

I went on the hunt for fresh tasting tortillas and picked up some uncooked TortillaLand tortillas at Costco (found in the refrigerated section).  I love that they have five simple (and recognizable) ingredients – wheat flour, water, canola oil, salt, and sugar.  So, I put them to good use with a little experimenting.  When I mentioned to my husband what I was set out to do, he looked at me like I had four heads.  “Oh ye of little faith.”

When the hubby took his first bite, he said, “Wow, not bad” and proceeded to eat a couple more.   Ha!  Steve likes all things fried, so  I knew this would be a winner.  Do I know my husband or do I know my husband?

These taste delicious paired with ice cream or drizzled with honey.  Hosting a game day party? You’re sure to impress your friends with these Cinnamon Crisps, they’re a real crowd-pleaser! #partyfood

As you’re preparing your game time menus, keep ToritllaLand tortillas in mind — uncooked tortillas that you cook yourself with great taste and texture! I love how they puff up when you cook them. It’s a win-win #gotortillaland! Visit Tortillafan.com to find a Costco that carries this product near you.
