Acts 2:46, “They broke bread together in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts.”  This passage is so appropriate for those of us who enjoy entertaining friends and family.  Without getting theological, it really just speaks to the fellowship, food and the hearts of those joined together.

Acts 2:46 Wall Print

I grew up in a pastors home, so entertaining is something I am very familiar with.  We entertained church family, evangelists, artists and more!  Sometimes it meant giving up our beds, and other times it just meant mom was going to be making some extra delicious meals.  Laughter filled the room as stories were told — and memories were made!

Of course my mom was a very good cook, but you know how we all have our go-to dishes for company, right?  Like Stuffed Shells, Homemade Macaroni and Cheese, or a roast paired with mashed potatoes and corn.  And sometimes it was a good ole’ backyard barbecue.

So, you can see why I have special place in my heart for Acts 2:46.  It’s such a fantastic passage of scripture and takes me on a stroll down memory lane.

Love you too, mom! I’m blessed to be a part of the ministry you and dad had. Loved brushing shoulders with so many great people along the way too. This passage of scripture makes me smile — Mike Amico, The Sparks, Judy Mensch, and so many more. HUGS!

Yes brought back a flood a memories. Quite a cast of characters ate at that
table. In the end I was very sad to see that table move on. I found it for my mother
buried in the back of an antique store painted teal green. My father stripped it
and it sat proud for many years.

Boo! I wanted this print, but for some reason I keep getting an error message when I try to open the zip file on my computer. Maybe I’m doing something wrong? I wish there would have been the option to just print it.
    Thank you.

Hi Dee-Dee. When you click on the print that you want, there should be an option to print (icon in the upper right hand corner). These printables are on the Google Drive with the option to download or print. I’m not sure why you’re being prompted with a zip file. Hope this helps… Hugs!

    Kelly,
This is a lovely verse to print out and remind ourselves of the thanks we need to give to God daily. I have printed it out and each of my Easter guests will see it before we have our meal. Thanks!
