Soft blush pink wildflowers with delicate clustered blooms against a dreamy pastel green background, creating a light and airy spring-inspired scene.

Happy hello’s from my little corner of the world to yours! I’m so glad you’re here.

Miscellany:

1. It was a good week with lots of happenings: HOA meeting, lunch with friends, coffee with my parents, doctor’s appointment, the dogs got groomed, and more.

The best part? The snow melted, and it’s not so bitterly cold. While I enjoyed the winter storm, I also enjoyed watching it make a slow exit. Haha. I guess the groundhog saw its shadow, so winter hasn’t made its official exit quite yet.

Can you tell I’m ready for spring?

2. Last weekend, my sister came out for a visit and asked me to make her a Breve. I made it the way I’ve been making it—two ounces (shots) of espresso and three ounces of steamed half-and-half. Of course, I asked if it tasted like a Breve, and she said it was close.

Ahem, “close” wasn’t good enough for me. Sooooo, I made “per usual” but added an extra ounce of COLD half-and-half. Guess what? PERFECTION! Yes!!! I was so stinking excited.

3. Earlier this week, I shared this Football Word Search for the BIG game this weekend. We’ll probably watch it and root for the Seattle Seahawks because I am not a fan of the New England Patriots. However, may the best team win.

Will you be watching the halftime show?

4. So, I’ve noticed a lot of trending Perler Bead crafts on Pinterest. I gotta admit, I’m a little curious. I’ve never used them before. Thoughts? There are some super cheese projects out there, but I’ve seen darling wreaths — any interest in seeing

5. We live in a small town, and there’s one bar and grill called Beak’s. They host BINGO and trivia once a month. We joined in on something local for the first time, BINGO with our neighbors. Guess what? We were so glad we did. Honestly, it was so much fun!

Unfortunately, we didn’t win, but we had fun nonetheless.

6. For accountability purposes, I’m putting this here. Mmmkay?

Next week, I have to get back to the gym. I’ve been trying to give my back some rest, but I’m going to give it a go again. I’ve been walking around the neighborhood, but I also need to get back to attending classes.

If the back pain spikes again, I’ll be getting an MRI. Please continue to pray with me.

7. Shows I’m currently watching or watched:

  • Peaky Blinders (Netflix): We finished the series. Dang, I didn’t expect to like this series as much as I did. I was kind of sad to see it end — and then I found out they’re finishing the show/series with a movie this March. Woo-hoo!!!
  • Bridgerton S4 (Netflix): Four episodes were released, and they didn’t disappoint. I love this series!! The next release is February 26th. I can’t wait. Eeeks.
  • Lincoln Lawyer S4 (Netflix): A great lawyer series. I didn’t know another season was coming. So much to watch, so little time. HA! I watched the first episode and am looking forward to seeing how it unfolds.
