Can you believe that August is just days away? I continue to ask myself, “Where did this year go?” With that being said, the August 2017 Calendar is ready to go. Print it, save it and/or share it with a friend! This months quote hits home for me.
Printable August 2017 Calendar
On so many occasions I wish I could slow things down and enjoy life’s “moments” a little more. Have you ever felt that way? Life often feels hurried. As we rush from one thing to another or from one deadline to the next, we often neglect to pause and enjoy a moment. You know, stop and smell the roses?
This quote by Bonnie Friedman is fantastic:
“An unhurried sense of time
is in itself a form of wealth.”
It really spoke to me — and allowed me to think about the wealth there is taking the time to not feel so rushed, hurried or frazzled. I’m sure on many occasions things can wait. Take the time to talk with your kids about their day, play with your pet, go for a walk with your significant other, and make the time to call your mom or dad to just say hello.
I hope you’re feeling inspired! This month’s printable calendar will prove to be a great reminder to pursue that unhurried sense of time.

Thinking of you, Kelly. We bring our 12 year old unknown breed rescue to the vet this afternoon for a “quality of life” discussion. So sad, and so little we can do. You just need to do what is best for your dog and let that be your guide. Again, you’re in my thoughts.
Oh, and PS, we have a shihtzu also who has only one eye and is blind in the other (also a rescue). She does just fine with no eyesight as long we don’t redecorate and move furniture. She even goes outside to do her stuff (under our watchful eyes) and always finds her way out into the yard and back to the door.

Oh, Patti. I’m so sorry to hear your facing some health concerns with your pup too. It’s so heart breaking. I never in a million years realized that I would love my fur babies soooooo much. Thank you for sharing about your shihtzu too. Hugs and prayers! xo
