For the past few years, it’s been just my hubby, sister and I for Thanksgiving. A very small celebration with an enormous amount of food! Seriously, I could feed an army — but we all {love} “turkey day” leftovers. So, it’s a win-win! I never got around to sharing my tablescape last year because I wasn’t sure what I was doing until a few days before and figured I would wait and share this year. It’s nothing exceptionally fancy, but it was an eclectic mix of elements to add just the right touch for a festive and fall style Thanksgiving tablescape.
I used a light colored burlap to help set the centerpiece apart.
As messy as it can be, I kinda {love} burlap! {smile}
I mixed a few natural elements such as mini white pumpkins,
pinecones with some faux gords, leaves and mini grapevine nests.
Added a string of twine to tie the napkin and the silverware together.
I {love} using the upside down glasses as candle holders.
I rounded them up from the kitchen cupboards to ensure
there was a variety of shapes, sizes, designs and height.
And there you have it — my 2011 Thanksgiving Tablescape!
What are you planning to do this year? Fancy? Rustic?
My parents are coming this year — I’m sooooo excited.
I might just have to go a little over board {giggle}.
I’ll be partying {here, here, and here}.

Thanks so much, Rachel. I think those glasses were 95% of the reason I posted this. HA! That was the touch I loved about this tablescape too.

It is beautiful Kelly! I’m still planning my table (better hurry…less than three weeks!) I’m excited for you to have your parents – we host about 30 people each year and while it is chaos, I wouldn’t have it any other way. Have a wonderful weekend!

Well isn’t that pretty!!! Maybe I’ll just join you there at your place instead 🙂

So pretty! It’s kinda crazy, but we eat Thanksgiving dinner at the bowling alley my grandparents own back in my hometown, so no fancy tablescapes for us. But yours is beautiful!

Hi Kelli! Your table looks absolutely lovely. If I were you, I’d be inclined to use it again this year. All of the small sweet touched really add to the beauty of the overall vignette. I think the white mini pumpkins in the white square bowls are just precious!
