Happy Monday!  Are you getting a taste of some of the cooler temps in you neck of the woods? They’ve teased us a few days here and there, so I pulled out my handy dandy crock pot and whipped up some soup! During the cooler months, I could eat soups/chowders/stews or chili every single day.  They are pure comfort foods when the coats and boots come out.  Wouldn’t you agree?  I originally shared this recipe over at ForRent.com; however, I thought I’d share this Simple Slow Cooker Corn Chowder with all of you today.

Delicious and Simple! This Slow Cooker Corn Chowder is a must try! www.livelaughrowe.comThese ingredients combined create an explosion of flavor — and I’ve never made a soup with Worcestire sauce!  Have you?

Loved making it in the slow cooker~! It was thicker than what I am used to so instead of the half & half, I added three cups of whole milk. Soooo good~!

I am still a few years new to cooking. Would I be able to freeze this after making it and it would still be good? I made this and this was so, so, so delicious! I would like to make this for a family who just had a baby, but wanted to give them a meal that was freezer friendly. Thank you!

Hi Janna! It is freezable; however, the potatoes may be a bit mushy. So, for your friends to enjoy it at it’s best, I might pass on the freezing part. Just my thoughts.

On another note, I’m sooo glad you enjoyed the soup. It is quite tasty! xo
