As many of you know, RugDoctor sponsored my trip to Blissdom. I’m blessed beyond measure to work with such an incredible brand and honored to be a part of their Round Table. With Spring here, it mean it’s time for some Spring Cleaning! Time to take down the curtains and wash them, pull out the ladders to reach into those high places we can’t reach — and clean our rugs! Last year I had the chance to learn more about the product and visit their facility here in St. Louis at the #RugDocTour. It was a fabulous opportunity to get the Inside Scoop of Rug Doctor. Pictured below, you can see that I got to test drive one of the machines! They really are incredible.
Recently I shared the Carpet Cleaning Conundrum, where I quickly learned that my carpets are a lot dirtier than I think! For example, one square foot of carpet can hold up to one pound of dirt! Wha? Yep! Makes you want to start cleaning those carpets today, doesn’t it?

Yikes – that “1 lb. of dirt” statistic always gets me! We have a couple of area rugs and are about to invest in a few more. We vacuum them but I am thinking they might need a deep clean with three boys running rough shot all over the place! Thanks for the giveaway!! (and I love your shoes in this picture… lol).

Cleaned the carpets? Nope, never done. My house is fairly new, but it’s been a few years. I’m just not sure how you move all the furniture in the whole house!

I actually just cleaned my carpets on Sunday and realized today how horrible my current steam cleaner is. I even went to Home Depot to see if I could find some super duper strong concentrated cleaner that would help. With a sloppy dog and two kiddos I could definitely use this one!!

I vacuum every other day and have spot cleaned numerous times, but not cleaned an entire room. Our carpets desperately need it! On the top of my spring cleaning list is to rent a carpet cleaning machine!

Years and years. I keep thinking I am going to clean them before a holiday then think they will just get dirty I will do it after and the cycle continues. Latest stall is because I want to replace them. Not to mention that we have a cute little bunny who runs all over them. Need an at home cleaner desperately they are embarrasing!

Awesome! Being that we just moved – we cleaned our carpets back in the old place- probably 2 years ago. While we have mostly hardwood throughout now- our rugs could really use a good cleaning. I was just telling my hubs the other day how much my favorite area rug needed some tlc.

I made the mistake of letting the kirby guy in. Carpets are nasty. Ours aren’t even very old and get vacuumed constantly but he pulled out a lot of dirt. We lay on those carpets. It was a real eye opener. I NEED that rug doctor. (please and crossing my fingers).

We just moved into our “new” home this past July. Well, other than vacuming, we haven’t cleaned our carpets – Yuck! We live by a lake, have four dogs and a cat. Double-Yuck! We have 4 children and 5 grand-children and family in and out all the time. Triple-Yuck! I can only imagine what we would get up with a carpet cleaner like the Rug Doctor.

Need….I desperately need this. With 2 dogs and 2 toddlers, my house goes from clean to MESS in 2.5 seconds flat. Plus, my son has this “cool new trick” where he makes designs on the carpet with his milk and juice sippy cups. I’m hoping it’s a 1 year old boy phase…….?
