Happy What I Wore Wednesday!

How are you doing?  How is your week going?  Friends, I have to be honest in saying that I am pooped!  I got back on Sunday night from a week in Dallas, TX.  Half of it was a mini vay-cay for the hubs and I.  The other half was Blissdom!  That was all kinds of fabulous, but let me tell you… I am worn out!  My voice is shot, I have blisters on my toesies and I’m mentally drained.  But you know what, it was so worth it! I hope to share some of the incredible things I learned and people I met sooner than later.  However, I have TWO more trips in April…  busy, busy.

Anywho, do any of you find outfit inspiration from a mannequin?  I do!  Lol.  That’s probably some of the first pieces I take into a dressing room.  So, the marketing/display/styling teams for the stores I shop in are doing their jobs right!  {hee-hee}.  This sweater and shirt were displayed together.  However, one was on the clearance rack, so it was a miracle that I found it and that they had my size!  YAY.  I absolutely love this color combination too!

Let me talk a few minutes about the shoes.  I originally bought this exact shoe from Tom’s last year before BlogHer, but found them to be a little uncomfortable, so I took them back.  I stumbled across these look a likes by Bob’s at Rack Room Shoes for only $39.95 (half the price) and the fit was PERFECTION.  I was soooo excited and I {love} them!  Bob’s also donates a pair of shoes with every shoe purchase.  I wore these 90% of the time at Blissdom.  Super comfy.  Super cute.

Stay fashionably fabulous, sweet friends!

I definitely use the mannequin for inspiration! In fact, over the weekend, I picked out an outfit I probably never would have put together on my own simply because it looked great on the “model”.
Love your sweater in this outfit!
