Welcome to live laugh linky #109
I’m partying with all of you from Salt Lake City!
I’m actually writing this on my flight.
Up at 3:30 a.m. so if there are typos – forgive me!
I may or may not be a little addicted to my job.
Today I thought I would share something a little different. I don’t have features for you (boo, I know). Sorry about that! However, I do have a fun little advertising/promotional idea to share with you. Pencil in a visit, will ya?
Sometimes I think I’ve worked every job there is — seriously, no joke! Let’s see, I’ve worked as a waitress, housekeeper, fast food employee, administrative assistant, newspaper delivery girl, computer lab monitor, janitorial crew, children’s pastor, summer camp assistant director, substitute teacher, college recruiter, front desk at a hotel, drug store employee, church secretary, Director of Admissions for both graduate and undergraduate schools, Fine Arts Festival Coordinator for the Assemblies of God, Activity Director at an assisted living facility and the list goes on! HA!
One of the jobs I absolutely loved was being a Sales Representative for a promotional company. Promoter Advertising. I loved selling promotional products, pitching ideas and creating outside-the-box marketing materials for my clients. I remember one of the pieces I created was “Pencil us in for all of your promotional product needs” and getting the bosses approval to have pencils printed with the businesses logo. It was catchy and something that would make the piece a little more memorable. So memorable that I thought I would put something similar together for my blog — and use them at Snap! Why not, right?
Some might think it cheesy, but others might think it’s fun and a little outside the box. I’m willing to take the chance of making a memorable impression.
I created the printable (four to a sheet), had pencils printed through Oriental Trading and attached them with glue dots and bakers twine. Below you can see where I punched my holes and placed my glue dots. Voila!
It’s inexpensive, creates curiosity and memorable. What do you think?
Alrighty…. Are. You. Ready? It’s par-tay time!
First and foremost, I want to say a BIG thank you for joining us each week at the party. If you’re new, WELCOME!! You all ROCK. You know that, right? I couldn’t be happier that I’m one of the places you stop by to show off your mad talents! {wink}
//////\\\//////\\\
Feeling inspired? Now it’s your turn.
Inspire me, baby!!
Let’s get this par-tay started!
Ohhhh, one more quick thing.
Please Please Please don’t link up giveaways.
A few snuck in last week and I will have to delete them.
Refresh yourself on the do’s and don’ts. Thanks!!
Are you ready to get this party started?
- Feel free to link up just about anything {that is appropriate, of course}. Recipes, Tutorials, Inspiration, Crafts, Printables – If you blogged it, feel free to link it! If you didn’t… don’t!
- It’s not mandatory, but I would {love} for you to follow my blog.
- Please link to your specific post and not your entire blog.
- Please don’t link a project you’ve linked up before.
- Please only link up to THREE projects.
- Please add this party to your linky party list.
- Please do NOT link Etsy stores, giveaways, or other link parties! Unfortunatley, your entry will be deleted {boo!}
- Take a few extra minutes to visit some of the bloggy goodness that has been linked up.
- Most importantly: HAVE FUN! Feel free to grab my button from my button page and spread the linky {love}.

Hi there! I believe is was either the 1/8″ or 1/16″ — depending upon what string you use. Here’s a link to reference the sizes: http://amzn.to/1tztzIg
