Is anyone ready for Fall as much as I am?  I can’t wait to decorate my house — and I’m soooo ready for the cooler temperatures.  This Summer has been a brutally hot one.  Some days I felt like a prisoner to my own home because I just couldn’t bear the heat.  Plus, the heat, humidity, chlorine and sun exposure — well, they tend to make my hair feel a bit dry and frizzy.  Summer is not one of my favorite seasons — as it can sometimes leave my hair feeling dry and rough. Boo! Do you have dry or rough hair?  Is it weather related?  Some of mine is self-inflicted damage as well.  I color my hair for a number of reasons — and, well, I like being a blonde {smile}.

I don’t experiment a lot with hair products, but I did recently try one of Dove’s damage therapy conditioners:  Intensive Repair Conditioner.  It was said to provide nourishment to repair dry and rough hair.  The key word there for me was ‘nourishment’ — my hair needed a little TLC.

Some other selling features were:  Fiber Active technology that penetrates deep inside the hair strand, helping rebind damaged proteins and it contained a patented micromoisture serum that targets damage and repairs the surface of the hair by sealing lifted cuticles.

If this could help strengthen my hair and allow it to become resilient to future damage — I thought it was worth giving it a try.  I loved the silky smooth feeling of the conditioner and it smelled soooo good. I’m big on smells and find that if the product doesn’t smell good, I’ll pass (and that applies to just about anything, not just hair products).  It made my hair feel super soft and smooth.  And did I mention that it smelled good?  {giggle}  I did also notice  that my hair didn’t feel heavy or greasy.  I hate it when you use a hair product that weighs your hair down.  I have super fine hair, so the last thing I need is having no body because the product is heavy on my hair — or makes it look greasy.  Ewww.  So, I was super pleased!  Woot!  Folks, we have a winner!

Dove Damage Therapy: Intensive Repair conditioner.
