Who doesn’t love a good recipe that is impossibly easy? When we’re busy with sports, music lessons, church activities and more — easy is always welcome! Wouldn’t you agree? There is a staple in my pantry that tends to get quite a bit of usage for just about any meal and it is versatile beyond words. What is it you ask? Bisquick. Yep! I love that stuff. It’s a perfect go-to ingredient for breakfast, lunch or dinner. I recently made these Parmesan Chicken Nuggets using Bisquick and they were a hit.
Adding parmesan to the breading, takes these chicken nuggets from ordinary to extraordinary!
Parmesan Chicken Nuggets
Ingredients
- 1 egg slightly beaten
- 1 cup Original Bisquick Mix
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 to 1-1/2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1/2 tsp garlic salt
- 3 tbsp butter melted
- Marinara sauce optional
Instructions
- Place egg in a shallow bowl and beat.
- Combine the Bisquick, parmesan cheese, and garlic salt in another shallow bowl.
- Dip chicken in egg, then roll in breading mix.
- Place in a single layer on baking sheet.
- Drizzle butter over the chicken and bake at 400 for 14-16 minutes or until no longer pink, turning once.
- Serve with marinara or dipping sauce of choice, optional.
These Parmesan Chicken Nuggets are something the whole family will love — and you most likely have all of these ingredients already in your pantry/refrigerator. Score! My husband and sister did a little taste testing and confirmed they were tasty. They then continued to finish them off. I had to quickly snap a couple of pictures before they were gone {giggle}.
