Let me quickly assure you that I am not pregnant… just celebrating with some of my friends who are with a fun printable.
This past weekend, my sister (Kristine) and I attended an exciting baby shower. Our friend, April, who has been trying to get pregnant for years (I believe it’s been around eight or nine years to be exact) found out she was pregnant last year at the age of 40. I saw her in February at the Michael’s Pinterest Event and was so excited to hear the news. As a woman who has battled with fertility, I can only imagine the excitement April felt in hearing that exciting news! We knew she was having a baby girl and pink was in the mix for her nursery — so we decided one of our gifts would be an Organic Bloom frame with a sweet miracle baby quote! Here is one we found and love-love-loved: Such a big MIRACLE in such a little girl.
Isn’t that awesome? My sister and I are the sappy sentimental type and thought that a miracle baby quote couldn’t be more perfect considering the situation! Of course it made me think of all of you. I know so many women face infertility. I know, because I am one of them and I still get e-mails from ladies who share my story but don’t share it publicly. However, I also know that many women are getting pregnant (giving many of us hope).
My friend Amanda also had a very difficult time getting pregnant and shared some of her story here on LLR. She is going to be having her first child any day now. And just today, I read my sweet friend Shannon is pregnant too — after years of battling infertility! I’m so excited for both of them and all of you who have been given the gift of being a mommy. What a blessing!
There must be something in bloggy land water because I keep reading pregnancy announcements {hee-hee}. I always read them with happy/sad tears. I haven’t shared much about my journey lately because there is nothing new to report. Do I still face sadness? Of course! Some days it literally sucker punches me, but I’m certainly not going to live in constant grief and I’d love nothing more than to join these mommy’s in celebrating their miracle babies. So, here’s to the mommy’s who’ve traveled a long, hard road — and to the bundles of joy that have or will soon be joining us in this journey called life!
I thought I would share both the boy and girl version of this sweet Such a Big Miracle printable.
Save it. Share it. Celebrate!

As a mom who struggled with infertility too, I can relate to those happy for you, life isn’t fair feelings. I have four kids, three IVF boys. I would have loved one of these printables when my little guys were born. Hang in there – hugs!
