Ever been in a pinch for time (or maybe you just forgot) and needed a greeting card for your significant other FAST? These minimalistic printable greeting cards were created with that purpose in mind, aaaaand they’ll work for him and her too (so no one is left out). Yipee!
Printable Greeting Cards for Him and Her
If there is one thing I despise about the card aisle, it’s all the glitter. Seriously? Why do 99% of the cards have to have glitter on them? Glitter is my enemy. You’ll rarely see any projects that contain glitter on my blog. Why? Well, it gives me extreme anxiety.
When I’m in a craft store, if there is too much glitter on the counter at the register, I won’t lay my stuff down. I can’t do it. Gulp. I’m sitting here sweating as I think about it. Haha.
So, I decided to design these on the minimalistic side of things (and printer friendly too, where they won’t use up too much ink). And, they’re both symbolic of a couple of my all-time favorite things!
First, we have the printable greeting card inspired by vintage flash cards. These cards always make me smile. If it says 2+3=5, I think of my family (my parents plus the three kids). For couples, this one is perfect!

Another card was created using an old typewriter font and a fabulous quote by Robert Browning, “Grow old along with me, the best is yet to be.” A perfect pairing if you ask me. Relationships signify a commitment to one another and I love that we can look ahead and want to grow old together. The thought of growing old with my husband makes my heart happy!
Inspired by Quotes and a Typewriter Font
So, whether you use one or both of these at some point — they make great printable greeting cards for an anniversary, Valentine’s Day or even just because. They’re blank inside, leaving you with a blank page to pen your thoughts! And, again, either of these cards work for him or her.
As a matter of fact, feel free to use one of these 35+ Quotes about Love inside your card!
These cards are sized at 4.5″x 6.25″ to fit within a A6 Envelope, which are sized at 4-3/4″ x 6-1/2″. I usually have these envelopes on-hand — I think it’s a pretty versatile envelope size.
Supplies for Printable Greeting Cards:
Printer
White Cardstock (I prefer 110lb cardstock)
Paper Cutter or Scissors
A6 Envelope
Bone Folder, optional
Simply print, cut, fold and add your personal message. Voila.
