Sometimes as bloggers we get to attend fun events and meet some incredible people!  While in Dallas for Blissdom, I was able to attend the Wholly Guacamole Hungry Channel Chef Event. I thought we might watch the chefs cook, but we actually worked right alongside them.  The event focused on introducing us to the Hungry Channel Chefs (Nathan Lippy and Alex Thomopoulos) and how they used Wholly Guacamole and Wholly Salsa products as an ingredient in each of their recipes.

The session I attended was with the Hungry Channels Grill This with Nathan Lippy.  It was such a blast and he is the nicest guy!

wholly guacamoleWe had four different groups that prepared a different dish of Nahan’s to later share with the attendees.   My group made the Grilled Caesar Salad with Wholly Avocado Caesar Dressing.  Have you ever grilled romaine lettuce?  It is fabulous!  My group killed it on this recipe!  Absolutely delicious.  Other recipes included Sliders with an International Flair, Grilled Chicken Nachos and Grilled Salmon with Mango/Pepper Salsa!  Every single dish was mouthwatering and that is not an exaggeration.

I was going to make a recipe and share it with you, but I thought I’d just embed Nathan’s You Tube video so you could see it in person yourself.  Of course I’m sharing the one I got to make {yep, I’m a little bias}.  I was a bit skeptical about the idea of an Avocado Ceasar Dressing.  Well, you can imagine how pleasantly surprised I was at the impeccable taste.  Enjoy!

Below I’m sharing the Wholly Avocado Caesar dressing recipe for you to try!  Be sure to visit with Nathan for the full Grilled Caesar Salad recipe.
