In December of 2015, I saw a photo on Instagram of a beautiful Christmas card display. The vignette made my heart skip a beat. So, I took a screen shot and forgot about it. Recently I stumbled upon that picture. As a result, this year was the year I actually did it! While I was thinking about how I was going to pull it all together, I had an idea. It would be perfect if I added to the fun by making a few vintage inspired printable Christmas postcards.
Printable Christmas Postcards & Christmas Card Display
I love to save Christmas cards. Some have special messages, pretty images, are vintage and/or having a little more meaning to me, etc. Therefore, it was easy for me to set up this Christmas card display up before all of this years cards arrived.
Using a vintage window on my buffet is something I’ve been doing forever. It’s probably time for a change, but we’ll get through the holidays first.
I loved the idea of stringing some cards on the old window. Adding the wreath as a centerpiece to the display of cards really completed the look. What do you think?
Then I got to thinking that I could add a few of my own printable Christmas postcards to the mix — so I went to work. I created three different 4×6 postcards. These would be great to have sitting in a floral frog on display too.
I hope you enjoy them as much as I have… and will (wink). I tried to make them uniquely different, using some holly, poinsettias and birds. Adding a simple Christmas wish kept them clean, yet festive.
