Yesterday I shared a DIY Stuffed Bunny tutorial, another simple Easter project that is perfect for decor or placing in an Easter basket as a filler.  Today, I’m using some of the same steps from yesterdays project to share a Vintage Easter Bunny Favor.

I have to be honest in saying that I am in love with these.  They have a rustic, simplistic touch that makes my heart sing.

Vintage Inspired Easter Bunny Favor. These are to sweet to pass up!! I love that they're made using drop cloth too. livelaughrowe.com

Supplies for Vintage Easter Bunny Favor:
Canvas drop cloth
Sewing machine (or you could sew by hand)
Twine
Candy

You’re going to do the same first few steps of the DIY Stuffed Bunny which consisted of creating a template, cutting it out and stitching all around your drop cloth bunny cut outs.  For this sweet favor, you won’t stitch on a face and rather than stuffing the bunny with poly-fil, you’ll fill it with a sweet treat.

For bigger treats and candy, plan to have a larger bunny and/or space between the ears.   You could also use ribbon or fabric to tie the ears shut is an option as well.  This Easter Bunny Favor has a ton of flexibility and versatility!  So, have fun!
