Hello friend! We have a beautiful weekend in the forecast here. I hope you do, too. It’s been a couple of weeks. How the heck are you? I’m excited to do a little catching up.

empty tomb

Miscellany:

1. Happy Easter! He is Risen. Do you have any fun plans? I’ll go to my parents’ church on Sunday, and they’re also hosting Easter dinner. We rotate, so this year, I have Thanksgiving. I always look forward to ham and potatoes. Lol.

I have so many great memories of Easter. How about you?

2. I took last week off for a little respite. Sometimes, we know when it’s time to step back and slow down, you know? However, I was ready to jump back in strong this week. Yay!

3. Did you see the Homemade Croutons I shared earlier this week? I’m so excited for salad season. I love salad season. How about you?

4. The ocean is calling, and I must go. Guess what that means? We booked a week in Fort Morgan again next month. We found a dog-friendly VRBO to stay at that is a 3-minute walk from the beach. Yes, and amen!

I honestly love that Fort Morgan Beach is dog-friendly, too. I can’t wait to see how Nash does on the beach. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that he loves it because his mama will be enjoying all of the sunsets and sunrises. 🥰

5. Last week, I saw the dermatologist again. I was praying for no biopsies that visit but ended up having to get two. So, then I prayed for them to be found benign. They always say no news is good news.

On Thursday, I called to confirm—but both were benign. PRAISE THE LORD! So this is where I will put my little plug-in for sunscreen. Wear it every day, friends. Stop using tanning beds and take care of your skin. I’ve learned the hard way, so I feel it’s my duty to encourage others to make better decisions regarding their skin care.

6. On my Beauty with Kelly page on Facebook, I’m sharing 9 Spring Lip and Cheek colors over the next several days. If you’d be interested to see what they are, swing by. I’m also doing a fun giveaway! 🥳

7. WW (Weight Watchers) update. I’ve lost a total of 7.2 pounds since the beginning of March. Slow and steady wins the race, right?
