Happy Wednesday! I’m back with a What I Wore Wednesday (WIWW)
Where in the world has the summer gone?  Poof, it’s almost over.
Well, I can’t complain — fall is one of my all time favorite seasons!

How has your week been?  Good, Bad, So-So?
Mine has been so-so.  I’m actually feeling under
the weather -and- I think it’s a cold {boo!}

I don’t do sick well.  Maybe that’s because I rarely get sick.
So, I’m writing this in my sweats sipping on soup and tea.
At least I’m comfortable, right?  Hee-hee.

I’m sharing my striped maxi and thrifted denim jacket combo today!

Stripes and Denim for What I Wore WednesdayStriped Maxi Dress:  JcPenney | Denim Jacket: Thrift Store
Purse:  Coach  |  Bracelet:  Lisa Leonard Designs (more info below)

I saw this dress in JcPenney’s earlier this summer and loved the colors.  It was sooo long, being that I am sooo short! Thankfully, my crochet teacher (Carol) was able to squeeze me in for a quick hem days before a conference.  Normally I don’t mind hemming; however, jersey is a little trickier and I didn’t want to ruin the dress.  Carol was a real lifesaver and does not charge enough.

Pairing it with my thrifted denim jacket seemed like a match made in heaven.  What do you think?

Stripes and Denim for What I Wore WednesdayOn a very random side note, I’m happy to say that I FINALLY got glare free lenses — obviously not pictured.  So this is thee last WIWW picture with big ole’ glares.  Yahoo!

My fabulous bracelet might be hard to see in the pictures above, but I adore this “love in my anchor” bracelet from Lisa Leonard Designs.  I have a real crush on anchors as of late…

Love is my anchor bracelet by Lisa Leonard DesignsIt was a lovely day for pictures and a special thanks to my sister Kristine for helping me out! The dogs even joined us for the ride.  Pictured below is my Parker and my sisters mini schnauzer (Syndey).  Buster is back there somewhere, just not visible.

Have a beautiful day, friends!
Stay fashionably fabulous.  Hugs.

Love the outfit. I actual am wearing something similar today and just took a chance. I wore it a couple of weeks ago when I took a day off work, and the eye doctor commented on how nice the colors looked together so I thought I’d give it a shot at the office. A bit casual yes, but its Summer and we tend to relax the dress code a bit because here in GA its so hot and humid. Love your outfit, it pairs well with the jacket and it looks to be a beautiful day for pictures.

Hope you get to feeling better!! And thanks again for sharing your WIWW!!

Thanks so much for your kind words! I really appreciate it. 🙂 Sometimes casual is a wonderful offset and in the heat and humidity…I’m sure it helps as well. Have a great week. HUGS!
