Calling all football fans!  Are you preparing for game day?  It’s just around the corner!  We could always prepare for the BIG GAME by buying the same ole’ football decor that you can find at party stores; however, what if we thought a little outside the box?  Oh yeah!  That’s exactly what I did this year.  I thought I’d add some World Market flare to my game day tablescape.  It  doesn’t have to have to include footballs, right?  I went with navy, beige and green for our color scheme —  what do you think?

Fabulous Game Time Tablescape with LiveLaughRowe.com #worldmarket #football #entertainingI picked up the following at World Market:  Bronze Wire 2-Tier Basket,  navy napkins, woven table runner, small serving bowls (from the Passaro Collection), wood bark bowl, Green Recycled Tumblers, Blue Tumblers. Here’s a few more shots of the pieces I chose to use.

pretzels and pistachios

I think it suited my style perfectly — allowing the pieces to be win-win for entertaining on game day and throughout the year!  I not only {love} World Market decor, dinnerware and drinkware, I  also {love} their furniture!  Throughout our shopping trip, I kept pointing out all the lovely pieces I’d like for my home to the hubs.   I think he rolled his eyes more than anything, but let’s face it, not all men have the passion for home decorating that we do {giggle}.

Guess what else I decided to do?  I picked up a few food items for our game day eats!  They have a wide selection of foods, we picked up  pizza crust, BBQ sauce, Jalapeño Chips, and some of there beers and wines from around the world.  One of our favorite game time foods is pizza. My husband loves to make pizza (and I’d say he’s pretty good at it too).  He usually makes the dough and all.  Nom Nom Nom!  Anywho, we decided to use the pizza crust and BBQ sauce from World Market to make one of our favorites — BBQ Chicken Pizza.

Love your table, the pieces you chose to use and the color combo. Fantastic that you can use them on other occasions. We’re a hockey family but always celebrate the big “game”. The pizza looks divine.

Oh yes!! I am such a huge football fan. Love your spread here & I will definitely be making that pizza. Sad football is ending though & will have to wait 7 long months for it to start again.

I love world market! Our super bowl night however always consists of 100 sweaty teenagers running around the church eating pizza and chips while we struggle to figure out whose actually winning the game (youth leader probs). Haha! BBQ pizza is one of my favorites but I have never made it – I will have to give your recipe a try!! Have a great rest of the week Kelly!

World Market is one of my favorite stores. I’m so sad that the one really close to us closed a few years ago. But there are still a couple in the Twin Cities, I just need to make a “special trip” out of it. That pizza looks fabulous!
