Happy Holidays, Happy Holidays!
While the merry bells keep ringing,
May your every wish come true.
Yep, I’m humming a Christmas tune while pulling this post together {hee-hee}. I have a holiday recipe today that is sure to fit the bill for your holiday entertaining. It also happens to include some of my holiday favorites: cool whip, peppermint and International Delight. This Peppermint Delight Whip is fluffy and perfectly flavored to leave a hint of the season lingering on your taste buds.
Three or four years ago, my family went to Gatlinburg, TN for vacation. I loved Gatlinburg!! It was a such a beautiful spot, friendly people and so many darling shops to browse through (including the incredible Christmas Palace). Anywho, we found a spice shop that carried a peppermint concentrate that you mixed with cool whip. It was DELICIOUS! I even oredered it on line one year for entertaining purposes. Well, friends, when pulling this recipe together I was delighted to find that it was a copy cat recipe. I just smiled and savored the flavors.
Peppermint Delight Whip
Ingredients
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream cold
- 1/2 cup Peppermint Chocolate Truffle International Delight chilled
- Red Food Coloring
- Starlight Peppermint Candies crushed
Instructions
- Combine whipping cream and International Delight into a bowl and whip at high speed with an electric mixer until thick and spreadable. Add a drop or two of red food coloring in while mixing. NOTE: Do not overbeat once the desired consistency is reached.

Serve with cookies and coffee! Even better — substitute the Peppermint Chocolate Truffle International Delight with any other flavor! For the holidays try Gingerbread Latte or Sugar Cookie. Need a summer dip — mix in French Vanilla! I love that this dish is not only delicious, but versatile too.
