Wow. I mean WOW! It’s almost May, friends. I may be a little bias to this month being that I’m a May baby (wink). I do love May — not too hot, not too cold. With the new month, comes another monthly calendar. Snatch up your May 2016 Calendar today!
I’m a little obsessed with the quote I chose for this month’s calendar. “Work hard in silence. Let your success be your noise.” said by Frank Ocean. How often do you want to share your success? I mean, we all do at some point — especially when we’re finally seeing the fruits of our labor. We want to shout it from the mountain top!
I felt like this was a great reminder that it’s okay to work really hard behind the scenes. Work quietly. Let the success of that project, proposal, party, etc. make all the noise! Isn’t that a great way to think about working hard? I just love it.
Yes, there will be times, when often the hard work may still go unnoticed. Unfortunately, that happens a lot in many different settings, but the people that do notice will be the ones who matter the most to you.
Years ago, I worked for an organization where I had to coordinate a festival for over 8,000 participants and it was being held thousands of miles away (gulp). It required some grueling hours and a TON of team work. I knew in the end, the Director of the department would receive all the credit. I still worked my butt off and the people who worked by my side along the way were the ones who cheered and congratulated me in the end. I knew the success of the event would be my noisemaker. Gosh, I’m not going to lie — I get a headache thinking about that job. I was a walking zombie. Haha.
I hope that you’re encouraged by this — whatever it is that you’re working toward. Let me also say that YOU define your success. Do not compare your success to anyone else! Maybe for one person, making ‘X’ amount money is being successful and they worked hard for it — and the next guy/gal is making double or triple that amount of money, and wants to make more! We set our goals, we work hard for different reasons and our success will be measured differently. Aaaaand, that’s okay!
I’m going to shut up now {wink}. Happy May, friends! Here’s the download for the May 2016 Calendar.

Hi Kelly,
Do you have the calendar dates in “bold” ? I made several prints in different types of papers, with new black cartridge and in all them the dates appear to clear…
It’s funny cause it’s not the first calendar I download from a blogger site and that happens to be printed his way. The other one I don’t remember from which one and can’t advise, but as it happened now… I decided to give you a feedback!
Well, facing this little “rock” on my way, I opted to use one of my tests with Canson papers. The calendar printed in vegetal paper and behind it, I added a coloured paper – I don’t know the name of the colour… I would say “a highlighter green”. I loved the result!
As Antoine Lavoisier quoted.. “Nothing is lost, nothing is created, everything is transformed.” So, thanks for the May calendar and great sentence choice!
kisses ML

I absolutely love that quote! Success is a funny thing, the idea of having my success be my noise feels so right and empowering,, some people create so much noise you’re not sure what they do or what they’re celebrating! Thanks for sharing.
xx
