I assisted Kristine with a photo shoot in St. Clair The large family was accompanied by a large number of dogs as well.  We quickly learned that Lynda used to breed Yorkies — and show some of her dogs.  First and foremost, I love, love, love Yorkies.  I’ve heard mixed reviews on their tempermants, but I can’t help but think they are the cutest.  This little girl caught my attention IMMEDIATELY as she approached me with a ball in her mouth, as if to say, “let’s play” in a little girls voice.  I was game and every chance I had, I was playing catch with Deja.  At times it was with a small tennis ball and another time is was with a wiffle ball too big for her.  I laughed out loud watching her with that ball.  At the end of the session I asked for a picture with her and all of her 4 pound precious self.  I was shocked to hear she was 8 years old, but it was obvious she was one of the show dogs in her mannerisms and how attentive she was to her Mommy’s directives.  If I could’ve have brought her home, I would’ve.  Although, I’m sure Steve would have killed me.  Anywho, I had to share one of the small things that brought me great joy.  Consider it a reminder to enjoy some of the crazy simple things in life as we continue on our journey… living and laughing.

keep living and laughing, friends.
