Who loves ice cream? Me-Me-Me-Me-Me!!  There is absolutely nothing like treating yourself to some ice cream on a hot summer day, or indulging in a bowl of ice cream before bed.  Pure bliss.  Sometimes we might think of a special reason to enjoy the deliciousness of ice cream.  As many of you may know, last week my parents were in from New Jersey.  Their visits create everyday smiles for me — getting to reconnect and catch up on all that life has offered and/or challenged us with.  So, this visit we celebrated reconnecting and we did that couple of different times over Edy’s Slow Churned Ice Cream.

Celebrate Family with Edy's at livelaughrowe.comEveryday Smiles with family at livelaughrowe.comBeing that my parent live in NJ, too many miles away, I’m always so excited to have them here for a visit.  They work so incredibly hard, so I try to spoil them a bit when they are here… and stocking up on Edy’s was on the list!  However, we ALL enjoyed it!

Everday Smiles with family, Hubby and Sister.With wholesome ingredients like nonfat milk and churning all of the ingredients together slowly, you get ridiculously rich and creamy ice cream – but with only HALF THE FAT and 1/3 FEWER CALORIES than regular ice cream.

Edy's Ice Cream. All the TASTE. HALF the fatWith a variety of flavors and incredible taste and texture — you just can’t go wrong!  Want some even more exciting news?  Limited Edition fall flavors will be in-store by September 15th: Pumpkin (available through October) and Peppermint (available through December).  I tried to hunt down the Pumpkin, but didn’t have any luck this time around.  Soooon though! {wink}

My fur babies got in on the fun too…

Fur Babies Everyday SmilesEven at the age of 39, I still get homesick.  I’m blessed to have such an incredible family.  I’m thankful for godly parents who love me unconditionally and know how to have fun!  We are a crazy bunch when we’re all together (ask my hubby.  hee-hee).  So, tell me, how do you celebrate everyday smiles?

    What a sweet post ~ I don’t think age ever matters….homesick is homesick no matter how old you are. The ice creams looks delicious. We always have some in our freezer…unless I eat it all but then I try to restock before anyone misses it. So glad you got to have a visit with your family.

    I love me some ice cream! Just today I bought waffle cones as a special “Happy Tuesday!” gift to myself — can’t wait to put some ice cream in one and start going at it! It’s amazing how something as small as ice cream can put a smile on anyone’s face.
