Today I’m sharing one of my favorite Christmas setups yet — my Pretty in Pink Flocked Tree. Every year, I like to give my Christmas tree a little personality, and this time, I decided to step outside my comfort zone. I’ll admit it… I was nervous about this color palette at first. But spoiler alert: it turned out to be such a classic beauty.

I partnered with King of Christmas to share a little holiday magic with their beautiful flocked tree and ornaments.

Between the soft pinks, shimmering metallics, and frosted branches, this King of Christmas tree feels like something straight out of a winter fairytale. Let’s take a little tour, shall we?

Choosing the Perfect Flocked Christmas Tree

When it comes to Christmas decorating, I’m all about investing in pieces that I can love year after year. For this setup, I used the 8-Foot King Flock Slim Tree with LED Lights from King of Christmas.

The tree is pre-lit with warm white LED lights, which makes setup a breeze. But what really sold me is the flocking. The snow-dusted look adds instant charm and brings that “freshly frosted” magic indoors — no shoveling required! Wink-wink.

And because it’s a slim design, it’s perfect for smaller spaces or cozy corners that need a little holiday sparkle. I love that it still feels full and lush without taking over the room.

Creating a Pretty in Pink Flocked Tree Theme

Pink isn’t the first color most of us think of when we decorate for Christmas — but oh my goodness, it works. The combination of blush tones, mauve accents, and soft metallics adds a feminine touch that still feels timeless.

The key to pulling off this look is balance. I wanted the pink hues to feel elegant, not overpowering. To achieve that, I mixed a few different finishes — shiny, matte, metallic, and glittered ornaments — to create visual depth and texture.

The Sweet 30-piece Glass Ornament Set in Pink-Purple from King of Christmas was my starting point. These ornaments are absolutely stunning — they have that vintage candy-shop vibe that instantly catches the light.

From there, I layered in champagne, rose gold, and silver pieces to complete the look. Here are some of the additional ornaments I used.

Ornaments Used:

  • Rose Smoke Satin Ribbon – Hobby Lobby
  • Disco Ball Ornaments – Hobby Lobby
  • Felt Poinsettia Clips/picks – Walmart
  • Pink/Purple Glass Ornaments – King of Christmas
  • Gold Glass Ornaments – Walmart
  • Pink Glitter Plastic Balls – Walmart
  • Smaller Blush/Gold Balls – Dollar Tree (made great filler)
  • Shatterproof Mercury Gold – already owned, reused

Other Decor:

  • Pink Tree Skirt – Amazon
  • Pink Bottle Brush Tree – Walmart
  • Honeycomb Tree – Walmart (similar, purchased last year)

Pink Details That Make It Shine

I truly believe that little details make all the difference when decorating a tree. Once I had my ornaments in place, I tied pale pink/blush rose satin ribbons to several branches for a soft, romantic touch. The bows add movement and make the whole tree feel dressed up — like it’s ready for a holiday soirée.

I also added oversized felt poinsettia clips/picks in a neutral taupe shade. These large florals not only add dimension but also break up the shimmer of the ornaments with something cozy and organic.

Underneath the tree, I used a plush striped pink tree skirt that complements the color scheme beautifully. It’s soft, subtle, and ties everything together perfectly.

And of course, no Christmas setup is complete without a few perfectly wrapped gifts — brown kraft paper, white ribbons, and pops of pink tissue paper fit right in with the overall vibe.

Mixing Modern and Natural Holiday Elements

One of the reasons I adore this setup is the mix of materials and tones. The flocked tree gives that fresh, snowy texture, while the woven baskets on the wall and the rattan side table add warmth and earthiness to the space.

The combination of natural and modern touches creates a balanced look that feels both curated and cozy — not too polished, not too rustic. That’s always my sweet spot when decorating for the holidays.

And let’s talk about that adorable little paper honeycomb tree on the rattan stool — it adds just the right amount of whimsy. I love layering in these smaller decorative accents that quietly echo the main theme without competing for attention.

Styling Your Pretty in Pink Tree Corner

Decorating a tree is one thing — but creating a cohesive corner around it is what makes the magic happen. On the wooden credenza nearby, I styled a small vignette with a few bottle brush trees, a touch of greenery, and my record player. There’s just something nostalgic about listening to holiday records while the lights twinkle in the background.

The soft glow from the LED lights casts the prettiest shadows at night, making the whole room feel warm and welcoming.

Even Nashville seems to approve — he cooperated and parked himself right next to the tree for a short time, while I was taking photos. I think he knows he matches the décor perfectly! Hee-hee. Bentley doesn’t sit quite as well yet, so he didn’t make it into the pics this time.

A Tree That Tells a Story

Each year, my Christmas tree tells a story — and this one is about taking a creative risk and loving the outcome. While I adore traditional red and green holiday décor, this Pretty in Pink Flocked Tree has a delicate sophistication that feels fresh and unexpected.

It’s cheerful but not loud. Feminine but not fussy.

It makes me smile every time I walk by it, and my husband loves it. He said I did a great job, and it looked classy. Isn’t that sweet?

If you’re considering trying a new color scheme this holiday season, pink might just surprise you! Start small — maybe add a few blush ornaments or soft satin bows — and see where it leads. Sometimes the most beautiful results come from the boldest ideas.

Creating a Holiday Look That Feels Like You

At the end of the day, decorating should feel personal. Whether you prefer minimal décor or go full-on sparkle mode, your home should tell your story.

I think that’s why I enjoy themed trees so much. Each one captures a different season of life — a reflection of what I’m drawn to that year. Some years it’s simple and serene; other times it’s playful and colorful. This year, it’s about soft beauty and gentle joy.

So as you unpack your ornaments and string the lights, remember: there’s no “right” way to decorate a Christmas tree. There’s only your way.

Magical Pretty in Pink Christmas Tree

This Pretty in Pink Flocked Tree turned out to be one of my all-time favorites. What started as a nervous experiment ended in pure holiday magic. The blush tones, the snowy branches, and those shimmering glass ornaments created the dreamiest little corner of joy.

If you’ve been eyeing a flocked tree or considering stepping outside traditional holiday colors, I can’t recommend it enough. Pink may not be classic in the traditional sense — but it’s timeless in its own way.

So here’s to trying something new, trusting your creative instincts, and finding beauty in every branch.
