Do you have a happy place at home? A place where you can retreat to unwind, chillax, or find a pick-me-up? I do. I’m blessed to have a room that I call my happy place… my work/craft room!
In this space, I am surrounded with all things happy! I have bits and pieces of things that remind me of special people, projects, and favorite crafting supplies.
Other things might include this print that reminds me life is pretty darn amazing…
Silk flowers that were used at my wedding and make me smile at the lovely memories…
Inspirational quotes that gently nudge me to enjoy the little things that make me smile…
And a lovely corner where I can just sit and read…
I often like to retreat to my happy space for journaling blog and shop ideas, reading magazines or catching up on Mike and Molly episodes that I’ve recorded on my DVR.
And for me, a little retreat to my happy place wouldn’t be the same without my coffee — or the new International Delight Chai Tea Lattes! Oh so good. Available in Caramel or Vanilla too!
Tell me that mug doesn’t take the crafty part of yourself to a happy place too! {wink}.
