A little late to the calendar party, but back by popular demand — I present to you the January 2016 Printable Calendar. I have to admit I was pretty torn on doing the monthly calendar again, but so many of you asked that I decided to just do it! Woo-Hoo. Those who know me well know that I love quotes, so sharing these inspirational monthly calendars is a real joy… I’m tickled silly they’re being put to good use!
Boy does this quote speak to me… it’s always when we least expect it. Of course we often have the “I want it now mentality,” but sometimes it’s a matter of patience and trusting the Lord.
When I was single, I was traveling A LOT for my job… so, I didn’t date much at all. What am I talking about, I didn’t date much PERIOD. I was very single all through high school and college. I was always going out with big groups of people — but that really didn’t bother me to say the least, I always had a good time being a social butterfly. While on the road, I thought I would visit some on-line dating sites and found one for people of faith: ChristianCafe.com. It gave me something to do every now and again and I went out on a few dates, realizing that most of the guys on this ‘faith based’ dating site were far from ‘faith based’ (in my humble opinion). So,
I would go back and forth to the site when I was bored. Then I met this ONE fantastic guy — he was kind, loved Jesus, and a bit introverted. Would you believe that I married that man three years later? Talk about unexpected. I wasn’t looking for my husband… I was simply having fun and waiting on the Lords perfect timing. Who knew???
With the New Year here, challenge yourself to not worry so much about making things happen — “Be patient. The best things happen unexpectedly.” What do you say? Are you up for the challenge?
