Hi friend! It was a busier week, so watching the weekend roll in gave me all the happy dance vibes. How about you?

Miscellany:

1. The week kicked off with a long weekend — and on Memorial Day, we had a last-minute family gathering and grabbed Andy’s custard on our way home. It was a nice day! I’m grateful my mom invited us all over.

2. Hair appointments. Do you love them or hate them? Asking for a friend. Haha.

I love hair days; however, I honestly hate the amount of time they take. Haha. I always feel like I lose a good 2-3 hours of my day. I know all the foils and processing takes time, but it still feels like time is lost. Ya know? Am I crazy?

Yes, I always take something to do — earbuds to listen to a podcast, my laptop to do some work, or a book to read.

That said, I had a hair appointment this week. While I may be grumbling on the inside, on the outside, I feel 100% better.

3. Update on Nashville (our fur baby). I’ve set up a card table in the living room to sit with Nash and keep him inactive. We are on a mission to keep him from jumping on/off furniture and keeping him less active. I’m borrowing my sister’s dog stroller so we can still take him on walks with us.

If I’m being honest, it is 100% heartbreaking. I guess that’s why it’s called tough love, but it’s hard for this fur mama. I want him to be living his best life, and he’s not.

We’re praying we start seeing changes in his limp over the next week or two. However, the vet said it could be up to 6 to 8 weeks. If you pray, please pray along with us.

5. Have you heard of Leanna Crawford? She released a new song this month called Still Waters. It is sooooo good. It’s been on repeat all week long. The words speak to my heart and soul as I journey through such a high anxiety season of life.

“Psalm 23 hates anxiety.”

Check it out. I’d love to hear what you think. ❤️ ❤️

6. Next weekend is the Rogersville Citywide Garage Sales. My sister and I will be doing it once again. I won’t have nearly as much stuff as I’ve had in the past, but that’s okay. I haven’t done anything to prepare for it yet, so I presume this next week will be lots of pricing, etc.

7. This past Thursday, I met a few ladies from the neighborhood for coffee at a local bakery. It was nice getting to see them and catch up. I enjoyed a DELICIOUS coffee croissant, too.

Sometimes, it’s easy for me to want to stay home, especially if I’ve had a busier week, but I was glad I went. We laughed and cried… good people.

8. Seint kept me on my toes all month long. However, I met my goals and I’m proud of myself for that. I worked hard and it paid off. I need to share a more thorough post about it soon.

Would you wear this with an Oversized Shirt and Jacket?

This Top in Black Jack is a favorite of mine.

Pssst. Enjoying the content? Buying me a coffee or two occasionally is a fabulous way to support all my hard work and the content I provide. Thank YOU!

Sending prayers for Nash! My dogs hip seems to go out every so often so I have a stroller for him. We walk every morning and if he gets tired and it starts to hurt I just plop him in the stroller. He loves it.
I just listened to that song Still Waters and it is so pretty! Thanks for posting it:).
As for hair appointments….not a fan. Same with nail appointments. Sure I love it when it’s done but hate wasting the time. Poor nails haven’t been professionally done in years:(.
    Your recipes look SO good.
    Have a great week!
