Happy hellos from a beautiful Rogersville, MO. Sunshine and 70’s are in the forecast. I’ll take it.
Aren’t these flower bouquets beautiful? 😍
Let me start by wishing my beautiful mama a Happy Mother’s Day! This picture was taken last Fall (2023). Obviously we’ll be celebrating on Sunday. I’ll be hosting dinner and making Stuffed Shells (she loves Italian food).
And Happy Mother’s Day to all of you beautiful women too! I’m thinking of each and every one of you. Please know that you are loved and appreciated! ❤️❤️
If this weekend is difficult for you due to loss or infertility, you’re not forgotten. Avoiding Facebook, skipping church, and wishing the day away is okay. It’s bittersweet for many of us, including myself.
Sending you a BIG virtual hug!! I’m virtually sending all of you one of the beautiful bouquets above!
Miscellany:
1. It’s my 50th birthday month. WOW! I can’t believe I’m turning FIFTY!
Sadly, it hasn’t been a great month up to this point, which is highly unusual for this “birthday month” celebrating gal. However, a lot has been going on, and the birthday party planning was a little more than I bargained for. Haha. Honestly, I’ve just been wishing the month away…
I think I’m just in a slump of sorts. I could show up here and say that life is all unicorns and rainbows, but that wouldn’t be realistic and honest. I believe in authenticity, and I’ve had a couple of good cries this week.
This, too, shall pass. Nevertheless, I thought I’d offer some insight into why things have been quiet around these parts.
This silly quiz confirmed I’m old as dirt, too. Are you? HA!
2. Have you been experiencing a lot of storms? We live in Tornado Valley, so Springs are rough around these parts. However, I feel like they’ve been getting worse over the years.
How about you? I trust you and those you love are staying safe. We’re seeing the signs and effects of Climate Change (IMHO).
3. This coming Tuesday, I’ll share a brand new post with the Handcrafted Society. Our crafting medium is Dried or Pressed Flowers. I’m so excited! I’ve wanted to try my hand at this for some time and finally did. So stay tuned!
4. Birthday Beauty Bash! I’m having a Birthday Beauty Bash for my Seint business next week. Would you be interested in learning more and joining me? It will be a private FB group. Shoot me an e-mail, and I’ll send the FB link.
This is a great way to learn about the product, ask questions, and have some fun! I’ll even do a live demonstration one night. Who knows, maybe you’ll win one of the many giveaways!
5. I saw this statement on Facebook earlier this week. It’s so good. I always want to love and enjoy the simple, mundane things. Whether going through a valley or sitting on a mountaintop, we must love each day ‘as it is’—the good, the bad, and the ugly.
Most of your life will not be extraordinary.
Most of your life will be simple things.
Done regularly. If you are only going to
be happy when you’re on vacation; after a
lush payday, after a big career win,
you’re going to spend most of your life really
dissatisfied. You either learn to love
the day as it is, or you don’t learn to love it at all.

Of course, this made me reflect on my #1 in today’s post. The month has sucked, but I also know how to keep perspective. I have way too much to be grateful for. Ya know?
Your bad days are part of your good life. Yes, and Amen!
6. Laughter is always good for the soul, so “I’m thinking about joining the cicadas this summer and just screaming for six weeks straight.” 😂😂
7. I’ve mentioned a time or two that I love linen, and this shirt from Target is the cat’s meow. Since I’m spray tanning, I think it looks lovely with that sunkissed look, too. The funny thing is that I hesitated when my sister initially pointed it out in the store. Now I’m obsessed with this shirt. Heehee.
Would you wear these colors? I love all the beautiful, vibrant colors this season.

Happy Birthday in advance! I’m done putting together my summer essentials closet, but that linen shirt appeals to the child of the 60’s in me. (:
