Happy Wednesday, sweet friends!  How has your week been?  I can’t complain…  Today, I kinda have a funny story to share.  I recently NEEDED to get my hair done {hee-hee} and wore the shirt pictured below.  I stepped away at one point to use the restroom and stepped on the cape, at which point it fell to the ground.  Well,  you can imagine what happened…  color got on my shirt.  A new shirt that lived a very short life.  On the upside, the shirt only cost me $5.00, but I was still a little disappointed.  What’s funnier yet is that it wasn’t pointed out to me until dinner time.  My sister pointed to my arm and I just took a big gulp — then my husband pointed to more on the front of my shirt.  Big fat sigh.   So, today I’m sharing my ruined shirt story.  It was a tragic day at the hair salon and I need to start wearing clothes I’m willing to ruin.  Believe it or not, this is the second time I’ve gotten color on my clothes.  Oh well, what can you do, right?  It’s clothing, not the end of the world. {hee-hee}

Anywho, I love clearance rack shopping.  I’m still very particular about what I buy, but I feel like I’ve conquered the world when I can leave with something I love AND I got for a real steal!  How about you?  Do you like to find a great bargain?  This shirt was one of those I found on a Gap Outlet clearance rack. (Ahem.  Pardon the wrinkles).

    That totally sounds like something I would do {says the girl who got bleach on one pair of jeans, and silicone caulk on another…all in one weekend}. That’s why I also shop clearance racks – because I’m a mess waiting to happen! 😉 It’s such a cute top and looks great on you! {p.s. – I saw your mailing station in Good Housekeeping last night! Keep rockin’ it girl!}

    Boo about getting color on your shirt 🙁 I’m with you on shopping on the sale racks – it just keeps me from feeling like any of my clothes are too precious. But I will say that I have a couple of $3 shirts that I am OBSESSED with. Anyway, love the red shirt – it looks great on you!

    I have to comment on this because I can so relate. We learn the hard way (Sigh). Well just so you know that shirt looks great on you and i have it in Navy. I’m sorry that happened but wear the old t-shirts to get your hair done. Oh and BTW saw your Smart Solution in the GH mag. Awesome!

    Cute outfit. I always wear my old clothes when dying my hair. Sorry about your mishap.

    I LOVE that shirt and the color (and your cute necklace). This totally sounds like something that would happen to me! Looking forward to “partying” Tuesday with you at the #ShareTheGoodness Twitter party. p.s. I “need” to get my hair done soon, too. #rootsbegone ! 🙂
