I’m looking at today as the very first day of our IVF journey — since today I officially started the birth control.  It’s a low dose, but will allow for control over my menstrual cycle and the timing of my stimulation cycle for the target date of May 25th (or thereabouts).  I’ve taken birth control only one other time in my life because of my endometriosis.  Let me say, it was NOT a good experience.  So, I was a wee-bit nervous about this — but, I’m believing for a much better experience.  Smile.  I’ll be on the birth control through May 8th.

I’ve scheduled my baseline ultrasound for this Friday, April 16th at 10 a.m. This is to rule our potential cysts or polyps that could interfere with my hormone stimulation or the success of my cycle.

Over the next two or three weeks, Steve and I will need to have some blood tests run and I will need to go through an “Injection Teach” to learn how to give myself all of the medications.

All is well.  Praying and believing.  We continue to covet your prayers and I will provide updates as necessary.  Love to all of you!!

keep living and laughing, friends.
