Mother’s Day will be here before we know it! I’m sharing a last minute Mother’s Day Gift Guide for the everyday mom. Sometimes we over think gift giving (at-least I do). I may not be a mom, but I sat and thought about what my mom might like — and, well, I came up with these ideas to possibly inspire your gift(s) for mom this year!
Fabulous Mother’s Day Gift Guide:
for the reader
Of course, if mom likes to read, be sure to pick her up a new book in her favorite series. Want to give her something else with that book? Like a personalized bookmark?
for the journaler
Does mom journal? Then this One Line A Day journal is a great option for her! Know a new mom? How about this Mom’s One Line A Day is a something that she can capture moments each and every day of the babies progress, first words, and more! Either are a great selection.
for the jewelry lover
These boho earrings are adorable. Simple, yet stylish — and with over 10 color choices to choose from! How about a wood watch? I own the Maple and get compliments alllll the time — it’s a statement piece, for sure! Last, but not least — Alex and Ani. These bangles are hot-hot-hot right now, and they have some great pieces just for mom, grandma, and more! If and when we ever meet, you’ll most likely see my wrist sporting a few {wink}.
for the crafty and creative
How about a coloring book or two? Coloring for adults has become quite popular and is known to be a great way to relax! So, pick up a coloring book and some colored pencils or markers. Encourage her to take some time for herself — and color!
An all-time favorite for all the creative types is the Fuji Instax! This camera creates hours of on-the-go fun. It’s great to create a scrapbook while on vacation too!
for the cook/baker
Does mom love to cook or bake? These measuring cups will suit both and, ummmm, who doesn’t love mason jars? Another fantastic option for those quiches or pies? This silicon (and adjustable) pie crust shield. I just bought this for myself. GENIUS!
For the crocheter
Does mom crochet? How about some yarn and this darling yarn bowl with a non-slip base! I think this bowl is all kinds of clever. What do you think?
for the coffee/tea lover
Of course, the first thing I’m going to suggest is on of my all time favorites — a gift card to Starbucks!
My mom is a huge tea fan! She would most likely love any of these porcelain tea cups or these darling tea tins. Whether mom likes coffee or tea, she’s sure to love this drying rack! Style and function? Yes, please! (tea cups)
for the diyer
The Handbuilt Home by Anna White. One of my favorite books, the hubs and I have built a project or two from it! Take a look at our DIY Rustic Bench. If mom is a DIYer, then this book (plus a power tool) is a win-win.
for the active
Does mom like to run, walk or try to get in her 10,000 steps a day? The Fitbit Alta is awesome-sauce! My husband recently just bought me one and, well, I’m in LOVE! This thing is magical — it tracks so much more than I expected and I get text and call notifications on it. The Alta is a slimmer version and can be worn with bracelets, making it look a little more fashionable.
for the blogger
Blogging seems to be a very popular occupation these days! If your mom is blogging, how about a fun blog themed mug? Bloggers gonna blog….
