I feel like I’ve had a LOT of Halloween inspiration this year. It’s kind of funny because Halloween is so not my jam. However, I really tried to push myself outside my comfort zone. So, today I have a simple Black and White Halloween Tablescape to share.

Be sure to stick around — there’s 20+ other Halloween Vignettes and more for you to find some inspiration! From front porches to Halloween Trees and more tablescapes.
And last but not least, I just wanted to be sure to mention that this post is picture heavy (gulp). Soooo, you get a cookie if you scroll, read and scroll some more. Mmmmkay?
Celebrate Halloween with Friends and a Festive Tablescape
I can’t do skeletons and skulls… so my goal was to stick with a black and white theme, incorporating a few elements that would say Halloween. For example, the vintage photos, bundled vintage books and white pumpkins. I mean, it’s obvious that this isn’t a New Years Eve tablescape, right? Haha! I crack myself up.

Black crows also seem to be relative to Halloween (here’s a crow printable if you’re interested). I scored these at Hobby Lobby and thought they would make great “bookends” to the black floral centerpiece. However, I think I might have seen these crows at Hobby Lobby last year, so my first thought was, “Are these so last year?” You can see that I didn’t let that argument win.
The place settings are one of my favorite elements of this Halloween tablescape. The galvanized chargers, black and white striped napkins — and using a faux gauze to wrap the silverware. Don’t you think the gauze is pretty GENIUS?
And I thought the black sprig added a little more festivity to the plate. What do you think?
Full shots of the table were hard to get. Plus, I’m still getting used to photographing in our new home; however, I love to photograph with my macro lens, so closeup shots are a win-win for me.
