St. Patrick’s Day is quickly approaching. Anyone hosting an Irish celebration? Will your kiddos have class parties? If so, todays post is for YOU! These green party favors are perfect for St. Patrick’s Day — and, well, any green themed party!
Green Party Favors for St. Patrick’s Day
I don’t remember doing much to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day as a kid… maybe wearing green on occasion. Hee-hee. However, today, I’ll look for a reason to celebrate any day. Now, tell me, aren’t these the cutest St. Patrick’s Day favors? I admittedly wanted to put stickers on these (that was the original plan); however, that plan failed. I resorted to these labels — which work just as well! Phew.
I’m not sure why, but I have fallen in love with these vending machine capsules lately. My sister bought them for something she was doing for her co-workers and I remembered thinking, I have to get some of them. Good ole’ Etsy to the rescue! They come is so many different colors too.

Anywho, back to the project. You’ll start by printing your labels and cutting or hole punching out the labels with your 1″ circle punch.
Add a few pieces of candy or a couple of small toys into the capsule, then place the lid on it securely. I used some mint M&Ms, Hershey’s Nuggets, Chocolate Gold Coins, and Junior Mints.
Add a small glue dot to label and attach to the capsule — and you’re done!!
I think these will be a real hit! I know I’d be tickled silly to find a couple of Hershey’s Nuggets Milk Chocolate with Almonds in a vending machine capsule. (wink)
