Sooo, let’s talk a few minutes about Gnomes. I think they are the cutest! Yep, seriously crushing on gnomes over here. My husband is a wine lover, so I decided to try my hand at Gnome Wine Toppers with one of my fave crafting materials — FELT. These are ridiculously easy to make and did I mention, the cutest??

Tell me these Gnome Wine Toppers aren't the cutest things ever? Make one in 10 minutes. Great for the wine enthusiasts. www.livelaughrowe.com #gnomeGnome Wine Toppers

Let’s grab a few supplies and take a look how you can make some of these for your holiday festivities (or gift giving).

Supplies for Gnome Wine Toppers:
Felt (9×12 sheets)
Glue Gun
Faux Fur
3/8″ Wood Furniture Buttons

Gnome Wine Toppers

Step One:
Wrap felt into the shape of a cone.  You can glue your seams as you go, but I chose to create the shape and hold it in place with a bobby pin, then use my handy dandy glue gun to seal the deal {giggle}.  The perfectionist in me didn’t like the glue as you go idea — and I may have ruined one trying it that way.  HA!   nd use glue gun to

Step Two:
Trim your cone.  You can cut your felt into a rectangle; however, I used a full sheet of felt.  I simply made the cone, then cut a couple inches off.

Step Three:
Cut your faux fur into a triangle.  Mine measured 4-1/2″ long and 3″ across (at it’s widest point).  Attach the faux fur to the inside of your cone shape with glue gun.

Step Four:
Glue your nose on and place over your wine bottle!

Super fun Gnome Wine Toppers made with felt and faux fur! Love it. www.livelaughrowe.com #gnome #winetopperTell me these Gnome Wine Toppers aren't the cutest things ever? Make one in 10 minutes. Great for the wine enthusiasts. www.livelaughrowe.com #gnome #winetoppers
Gnome Wine Toppers.  Gosh, they just make me smile!!
They’re perfect for creative wrapping,  hostess gifts or adding to your holiday entertaining.
I’m fairly certain your guests will want to take one home too {wink}.

I always go with the theory that “there is no stupid question”, so….is there an easy way to roll the felt into a cone shape?!

The gnomes you gave the tutorial for are so cute but I am wondering why the original pin is an entirely different gnome wine topper, which is so darling. Would love that tutorial , though I most likely could figure it out. Thanks for sharing

Hi June. I’m not sure why or how, but someone else pinned that other gnome picture and it’s linked to my site. I apologize. I have no idea where that picture or project is from.
