DIY Galvanized Tray

I may or may not have a slight obsession with all things galvanized.  It might turn into a problem if I don’t stop bringing things home too.  {giggle}  Let’s see, I have cake stands,  organizers, storage containers, buckets, watering pots and more!  I recently used one of my many pieces as a vase, check it out over on Instagram.  So, you can imagine my excitement in sharing today’s awesome sauce project — this DIY Galvanized Tray.

styled diy galvanized tray on coffee tableA few weeks ago I was picking up some treats for my furry babies in Walmart and saw a galvanized metal pet feeder.  I was with my sister and said — “Ummm, I could use this as a prop.”  I’m sure my sister rolled her eyes at me since my wheels are constantly turning for my blog {wink}.

At the time, I picked it up to use for styling as-is.  Then I recently spotted some rope at Target and had an even better idea — add handles with that fabulous-ness!
