It’s no secret that I’m a lover of food and appetizers are no exception {wink}.  I thought I’d share an appetizer that my mom has made for years. Typically we would enjoy this appetizer around New Years, and I looked forward to it every. single. year! It’s incredibly tasty and easy! Score.  Crab Meat Hors D’oeuvres, anyone?

This recipe is sure to become an all-time favorite.  The flavor truly melts in your mouth.  Guess what? It’s also a great make-ahead appetizer that you can have in the freezer for last minute or unexpected guests!  No thawing required.

Crab Meat Hors D'oeuvres

Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 can of crabmeat 6 1/2 oz
  • 1 jar Kraft Old English Sharp Cheese Spread 5 oz
  • 1 1/2 tsp. mayonnaise
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
  • 6 English Muffins

Instructions

  • Cut muffin halves into sixths.
  • Allow ingredients to soften, combine and mix thoroughly.
  • Spread on muffin slices and freeze.
  • Heat oven at 350. Bake 10-15 minutes.
