Back in September, I had a ton of fun capturing my Fall decor on camera and sharing them with all of you.  I thought I might give you peak inside our home for the Christmas holidays as well….  I love our home this time of the year, especially at night — it just feels a little extra cozy with the trees up and the fire crackling.  Today’s post primarily focuses on the living room.  I will try to post a few more pics later this week.  Thanks for stopping by!

Grab a cup of hot cocoa, get comfortable,
browse around and maybe you’ll find some inspiration!

Below on the left is a Huckleberry Bucket from Gatlinburg, TN.  Did you know that early settlers made these sturdy buckets on the spot while in the woods to carry home their wild pickins’?   Pretty neat piece, right? I keep out all year, but fill with greens for the holidays!
Christmas Decor 2011-1Another one of my favorite decorative pieces is this stocking holder (see below, on the left)…  I got it a couple of years ago through Ballard Designs.  I use it as a stocking holder for Christmas and a towel rack in our guest room the rest of the year.  I {heart} this piece.  I admit that I kind of had to stage this pic because I couldn’t get a decent pic in the living room itself.  So, yep, I cheated a bit {giggle}.   We have two trees this year.  Last year we had three, but since I’m heading home to Jersey for Christmas, I cut back to two.  The one in our living room is a Woodland Theme.  Lots of fun-colorful-woodsy-outdoorsy ornaments.  I stole a few from House 129 inventory too {smile}.  I’m sure you can also see my love for bringing in some of the natural elements of nature such as pine cones, branches, etc.
