Today I took a quick trip to Goodwill in search of any good finds in the bric-a-brac department.  Don’t you just love that word bric-a-brac?  Saying it just makes me {giggle}.  Anywho, I found this great ceramic piece today, which I’m certain would not be cheap if found in one of my fave home decor catalogs, but I was able to pick this little treasure up for $3.00.  Yay!

I’ve recently acquired a love for old hardcover books to stack/pile in random places for two reasons. 1) I just love old books and their smell (99% of the time I enjoy the smell, some do just stink. ha ha).  2) I love the decorative idea of piling them and even using them for short tables/stools next to a chair, etc.  That might take some time to accomplish; however, I’ll continue to make the random trips and small $1.00 investments  necessary to keep the stacks climbing {smile}.

I love a bargain and I adore these thrifty finds!

keep living and laughing, friends.
