Chalkboards and chalkboard printables seem to be all the rage these days! I’ve done three chalkboard projects to date and now I’m jumping on the printable bandwagon. Recently, I made my very first one for Thanksgiving (Be Thankful printable) and decided to do a couple more… I guess it’s kind of addictive {hee-hee}.
Yesterday I shared 15 Fantastic Christmas Fonts and today, I’m sharing printable Christmas Chalkboard Gift Tags that I made for you using a few of those fonts.
I kinda hate wrapping, but I absolutely LOVE embellishing. HaHa! Isn’t that funny? It’s fun using different colors, textures and tags, and decorative tapes on your gifts. One year, I wrapped all of the Christmas gifts in kraft paper and added all the color and personalization in the embellishments. I’m thinking about doing it again this year — and these chalkboard gift tags would be perfect with a little red ribbon or yarn. Don’t you agree? They measure 2.8″ x 1.5″.
*Please Note: All printables and downloads designed by Live Laugh Rowe are for PERSONAL USE ONLY. Please do not alter the file or claim it as your own. This file is not intended for resale, nor are the printed versions of this file.
I hope you enjoy them as much as I do. If you like these, you might also like these rustic Christmas gift tags as well! Happy wrapping… and creating, sweet friends!
Be sure to keep up with the 10 days of Merry series:

I am brand new to printables and I have a question for you. Would I print this on black paper? Your gift tags are beautiful. I’d love a tutorial on how you make these from beginning to end…do you know where one is posted?
Thanks!
Smiles,
Kelly

Hi Kelly! You’ll simply print these on white card-stock. The chalkboard effect is already in the printable. I use graphic design software, so I’m not sure a tutorial would be beneficial to most readers. Enjoy!!

I’m kinda new to the chalkboard printables…I guess you need white ink to print on black paper?…otherwise, it would be black ink filling in the background….Thanks for sharing your designs!
Kelly Rowe says
Hi Chris! The chalkboard effect is built into the printable. You’ll simple print on white cardstock and cut, they’ll look just like mine 🙂 No black paper, no white ink. Hope that helps. Hugs.
