Plaid and Khaki | WIWW #89

Happy Hump Day!  I love Wednesdays.  They’re a reminder that we’ve made it half way through the week — and we only have a couple of days until Friday.  Boo-ya! How has your week been?  I’m playing a whole lot of catch up with sleep, unpacking, work and life in general.  However, I’m not complaining.  I would much rather be busy than bored.  Aaaand it’s kinda nice to be my own boss {hee-hee}.

I’m excited to be sharing a favorite summer look of Plaid and Khaki, with a side of Parker Posey!  I’ve always thought of plaid as more of a winter pattern, but when I saw it in Target recently, I had to try it on.  I loved it!  It’s perfectly ‘summery’ paired with these khaki shorts (or denim shorts for that matter).

Plaid, Khaki and Parker PoseyParker and I took a little ride, walked a short while and he had a hee-haw time sniffing out some new spots!  I’d have to say, he was a real trooper! It was hot-hot-hot outside.  He seemed to compliment this outfit perfectly, don’t you think?  I guess you could say he was a bit of prop….  Ha.  He keeps this momma on her toes!  Boy oh boy do I love my fur babies, they bring me a great deal of joy.

Plaid and KhakiAlex and Ani BraceletsSee the bracelets?  I’m so totally obsessed.  I love everything about them.  The symbolism. The quality.  And that they’re made in the USA. Alex and Ani.  Be sure to check them out, I’m quite confident you’ll find one or two or three that are perfectly you! They’re great for gift giving too. Pssst.  They’re only charging $3.95 for shipping through July 19th too.  SCORE!

Once again, a big thanks to my sister for assisting with the photographs.
Thanks so much for stopping by, friends!  Hugs and Kisses.
Stay fashionably fabulous and uniquely YOU!

I’ll be linking up over at WIWW with The Pleated Poppy.

I love my fur babies too.

I do not have any Alex and Ani’s but they look lovely and I did not know they are made in the USA. I love learning something new!

We are having a break from the humidity here and to have the windows open makes me smile :)
