Chalkboard Christmas Printables and the Par-tay

Welcome back to the par-tay, friends!!
Gosh, I missed having you guys here last week.
Did you have a fabulous Thanksgiving?  I sure hope so!

10 Days of Merry. A fun and festive Christmas series with #bemerrySince there wasn’t a party last week, I don’t have any features; however, I am in the middle of my 10 Days of Merry series, so I thought I would give you some fabulous Chalkboard Christmas Printables.  Sound good?

Chalkboard Christmas Printables with livelaughrowe.comEarlier in the week I shared Printable Chalkboard Christmas Gift Tags (be sure to grab yourself a set of them as well) and then I was inspired by some chalkboard printables I saw on Pinterest that had pops of color in them and decided that I had to give it a try myself.

Well, friends, I have to admit that I’m in love! {hee-hee}.  I understand that they may not be everyone’s style or taste, but you can bet your bottoms that I’ll be hanging one or both of these in my home this year…  I hope you can say the same!  I’ve learned that not everything has to be perfectly framed and pretty.  I’ve been hangling printables on my refrigerator and kitchen chalkboard with washi tape over the past few months.  Since I don’t have children, it adds a little extra life to the kitchen.  Eclectic is welcome in my home these days!

Anywho, I think the color adds a little vintage charm and the statements are oldies, but goodies!  Did I mention how much I {love} them?  Enjoy.

Loving these printables… Trying to upload them to my local photo printing center, as I’m out of ink, (HP ink is SO expensive, its often cheaper to print big high ink stuff from the local big box store) but they won’t let me upload a pdf?!? any ideas? we won’t have ink before the holidays, as we order online. Thanks, love the printable, wanted to put it on my mantel in the worst way!`

Hi Erin! You should be able to download the pdf on your computer and save as a .jpeg. If you’re not able to do that, I would recommend just having it printed at a Kinko’s, Minuteman Press or an office supply store like Staples, Office Depot, etc. I trust that helps! Merry Christmas.

  1. […] December is always filled with lots of fun Christmas activities and wonderful memories that I want to make sure we all remember.  Creating a December Daily Album is a great way to do this but has often been quite time consuming for me in the past.  This year, I decided to keep things simple and made this cute little album in about an hour. It will be quick to fill in and I can easily add some extra photos to it if needed.  I found these tag pocket cards at Michaels {from the Recollections collection} and knew they would be perfect for an album.  I just cut off the strings and attached them all together with a jump ring.  I created my own cover page with some papers and stickers from Authentique Paper and added a tag and a couple of jungle bells with some baker’s twine. For the tags, I just cut out some white cardstock to fit in the pockets, inked the edges, and added a detail or two to each card.  I plan on journalling on the front of the card and cropping a photo to fit on the back of the card.  If I want to add extra photos, I can just trim them down to make an extra tag and punch a hole in the top.If you don’t want to purchase the tags, you can just skip the pockets and cut out your own sized cards {or use something like Project Life cards} and attach those together with the jump ring.   Even if you don’t do a particular Christmas activity on each day, you can always journal about what the holidays mean to you, your traditions, or favorite holiday decoration or food!  There is always lots to record! It is easiest to wait until you have all of your photos completed before printing.  Then you can always use a photo editing program to create a collage of 2 photos and then print as a 4×6.  You will then have two 2×3 photos – saves on printing fees and cropping time! So what about you?  Do you do a December daily album?  Give one a try if you haven’t – they are lots of fun to look back on over the years!I shared this post at Live Laugh Rowe. […]
