Happy Wednesday, friends!  It’s time for WIWW at Eckert’s!!

Last weekend I visited Eckert’s in Belleville, IL for the very first time to do some apple picking.  It was a perfectly cool fall day — and what a good time we had!   I haven’t been apple picking in soooo long, so it was fun strolling through the orchards with my hubby and sister.  As many of you know, my sister is an exceptional photographer — so my WIWW pics are a little fancier than usual — plus I had some taken with the hubs!

We strolled through their store, grabbed a wagon ride to the orchards for some apple picking, and ate lunch at the country restaurant.  They had pumpkin patches to pick your own pumpkins, live music and area full of fun for the kiddos.  If you live in the area or maybe your just passing through — Eckert’s is a perfect spot for kids of all ages!  Here’s a few more pics — and WIWW.

Jacket and Top:  JcPenney
Scarf:  Target
Jeans:  Hand me down
Boots:  Nine West
Watch:  Francesca’s
Happy Wednesday, friends!  Stay fashionably fabulous!

I’ll be linking up over at WIWW with The Pleated Poppy.

Your outfit is perfect for apple picking! I mean if you’re going to pick apples at Eckert’s, you might as well look FAB while you are doing it. I’m a newbie to you blog and I have come to enjoy it so much. I felt I knew you from the very first post I read. Now I know why. I’m a ST. LOUIS GIRL, too. Never mind that I haven’t lived there since I went off to college, got married, had 2 kids and now have 4 grandies (I was REALLY young when they were born! 🙂 My parents and one of my 3 sisters still live in St. Louis, my son is an attorney in St. Louis and St. Louis will ALWAYS be home to me!
I used to go to Eckert’s to pick apples, what a treat it always was! It is always a perfect Fall day any time you’re there. When I get home (St. Louis) this time of year, I always have to make a trip to Schnucks or Dierberg’s to pick up some apples from Eckert’s! You all look like you are having a great time, you and your husband are such a cute couple. You and your sis are adorable together. I enjoyed looking at the pics of your fun day so much! Thanks for the treat. GO CARDINALS!

Judy, Judy, Judy… what a lovely end to the day to see your comment! I just love finding that I have things in common with my readers. Thanks so much for all of your kind words and sharing your memories of Eckerts and St. Louis. I have to admit that I’m originally from the East Coast, so I’m kind of rooting for the Yankees. YIKES! Right? {hee-hee} Have a fantastic weekend, friend!! Hugs.
