Happy What I Wore Wednesday!

Happy Wednesday!    How was your weekend?  How is your week?  Time is zipping on by…  tomorrow is Valentine’s Day and before we know it Easter will be here!!   This past weekend I went to a boat show in St. Louis.  First time ever!  Boats are incredible things.  Big!  Beautiful!  Expensive!  I was telling my husband what an expensive hobby or past time that would be.  Don’t get me wrong, I would love-love-love to bask in the sun on a lake, but I can’t imagine making that financial commitment.  It was a fun afternoon.  I enjoyed the vintage boats and the dock dogs the most.

Alrighty, today I have to outfits for you.  Whaa?  Two? Yep.  I don’t know what got into me {giggle}.

These would be typical run of the mill errand running outfits.  I’m not afraid of color, as you can tell…  I can’t help but  think about how I basically wear flats 90% of the time anymore.  There used to be a day where you would RARELY see me in flats.  Heels and wedges were a must for this 5’3″ girl.  Funny how things change.  I’m all about comfort anymore and embracing my shortness.

I just had to tell you that I as much as I love your blog, I absolutely ADORE WIW!!! I look forward to it every week, and was super excited that we got 2 outfits this week to ogle! You are always cute & fashionable. However you aren’t over the top, you shop at real stores that don’t cost an arm & a leg, and in clothes that fit real people! Makes my heart happy♥. When I grow up I want to dress just like you;)

Hi Robyn! How sweet are you? Thank you for your kind words. I am no fashionista, just an ordinary girl who likes to look cute every now and again 🙂 I couldn’t agree more — real stores that fit real people. That’s the way I like it! Have a fantastic weekend, friend. Hugs!

Hey – I just wanted to pop in here and say THANK YOU for posting all these fashion Wednesday posts. I’m not a fashion female at all, but I really, really need some motivation to look less frumpy. I’d kind of given up, b/c of my size and age. I’m not 28 and skinny. So your posts are a real encouragement — you’re a little closer to the real me than most of these posts I see! (I hope that doesn’t come across wrong.) You look great in these clothes. How in the world do you find jeans? I gave up on wearing jeans. Anyway – thanks again!
