A couple of weeks ago, I dragged my sister along with me to do some shopping at a couple of Antique Malls in the St. Louis area.  I was on a mission to find some ‘deals’ for yet another house project.  In my search, Kristine and I were pleasantly surprised at the number of items that took us on a short walk down memory lane.  A couple of times we laughed ourselves silly.  I would encourage you to take a visit to a place such as this — you’d be amazed at the flood of memories that await you.  I captured the following FIVE pictures.

I remember an eagle similiar to this hanging in our home
when we were younger.  Such patriotism 🙂

Holly Hobby.  I had a doll just like this!!  Oh to be young again….

The infamous shaker.  Someone played this a lot in our church in Bath, NY.
I want to say Karen Johnson.  Good ole’ Bethel Assembly of God.
The old country spools.  My Mom loved decorating with the country
flair.  What country home doesn’t have a set of these? 🙂

Oil Lanterns.  Funny enough, these prove to stay in style.
They can always be found at the local Cracker Barrel as well.  Sweet memories.

Happy Friday, friends!  Have a fabulous weekend…
keep living and laughing, friends.
