Who doesn’t love Target!?!  Check out these adorable valentine treat bags that Maria from Blooming Homestead is sharing with us today — with goodies from the Target dollar bin!  p.s.  Affiliate links have been used for your convenience.

Valentine Treat BagsHi Friends! I am excited to be back at Live Laugh Rowe to share a super cute and simple Valentine idea. If you haven’t already checked out the super cute valentines products available at the Target dollar section, you are missing out! I was planning to put together a few simple Valentine Treat Bags this year and when I ran across these fun rosette tags and pink polka dot fabric tape I was smitten.

Supplies you’ll need for Valentine Treat Bags:

  • White kraft bags (I used the mini 4.25 width ones)
  • Clear food safe sealable bags
  • Various valentine washi tape and/or fabric tape
  • Scrapbook paper
  • mini clothespins
  • Rosette gift tags (found mine at Target or you could DIY your own!)
  • Candy
  • Scissors

Supplies for Valentine Treat BagsTo start, I added washi tape to the bottom of the bags. You can get creative with this. Simple add however many layers you want in various patterns. I did a few diagonal and a few layered straight across the bottom of the bag. I also love the torn edge look of the tape as it adds some fun visual interest.

Valentine Treat BagsFor some added depth, you can cut strips of scrapbook paper to layer under the tags. I cut my scrapbook paper into a simple pennant bottom.

Valentine Treat BagsWhen you have the outside of your bag all decorated its time to fill it with candy! I prefer to use these food safe clear sealable bags and place them inside the kraft bags.

Valentine Treat BagsWhen you’ve got your bags loaded with goodies you simply fold over the top, add your banner and clip it on with fun mini clothespins. Then add on your cute little tag and you’re all set!

Valentine Treat BagsAren’t they just so cute?
